Introduction

Bitspower Logo

Bitspower as a brand in the custom PC water cooling market has enjoyed a stronghold when it comes to fittings in particular, with a reputation built on high quality fittings of more types and colors than anyone else. You do have to pay for this, however, and other brands have sought to take up their design in offering lower-cost alternatives, which have not stopped the Bitspower train from rolling onward in 2020. When it comes to their other product categories, there is a lot more competition. In particular, their water blocks have never really been a must-have in my books to date, although they tend to support more CPU sockets, motherboards for monoblocks, and custom GPU PCBs than most other companies. The company wants to be a one-stop solution for everything without making customers think about it twice, however, and has had a few new CPU block designs come out to strengthen this mindset. Today, we take a look at one such block, and thanks again to Bitspower for sending along a review sample.

Funnily enough, I was planning to do a review of another CPU block from Bitspower that had come in before this one had arrived, as part of a holiday package, if you will. It even arrived before any news of the product was up on their website or social media pages, so I was not even sure if it was going to be a retail product for purchase until very recently. Bitspower is marketing this, the Premium Summit M, as their flagship CPU block design for the near future, and the first of their new "Premium" lineup, and it felt right to cover this first to lay a base for the other CPU block reviews coming up this year. The Premium Summit M CPU block comes in two finishes, a gunmetal and black metal, with the latter being the one I have. Both adopt a full copper construction, as well as integrated digital RGB LEDs for lighting, and we will cover the block in detail beginning with a look at the specifications below.
