ECS/Elitegroup
The new Intel P965 chipset adds support for the upcoming Conroe CPUs. ECS had the
P965-A on display.
- Intel LGA Socket 775, Intel P965, ICH8R
- 4x DDR2-800
- 2x PCI-E x16, 2x PCI-E x1, 3x PCI
- Gigabit Ethernet
- 6x SATA-II, 1x UDMA
- 10x USB, 2x Firewire
On the
C19-A SLI the NVIDIA nForce4 SLI XE is used which allows the use of SLI on the Intel LGA775 platform.
- Intel LGA Socket 775, NVIDIA nForce4 SLI XE
- 4x DDR2-667
- 2x PCI-E x16, 2x PCI-E x1, 3x PCI
- Gigabit Ethernet
- 4x SATA-II, 1x UDMA
- 8x USB
The
KN3 SLI2 is the third generation of ECS' nForce4 based SLI motherboards, this board uses the new AM2 socket.
- AMD Socket AM2, nForce500 SLI
- 4x DDR2-800
- 2x PCI-E x16, 1x PCI-E x1, 2x PCI
- 2x Gigabit Ethernet
- 6x SATA-II, 2x eSATA-II, 2x UDMA
- 10x USB, 2x Firewire
Using the new Crossfire XPress3200 chipset from ATI is the
KA3 MVP.
- AMD Socket AM2, ATI Crossfire XPress3200 + ATI SB600
- 4x DDR2-800
- 2x PCI-E x16, 1x PCI-E x1, 2x PCI
- Gigabit Ethernet, 10/100 Ethernet
- 6x SATA-II, 2x UDMA
- 10x USB, 2x Firewire
Another ATI chipset motherboard is the
RS485-M940 which tries to be a cost effective, small-form factor AMD motherboard.
- AMD Socket AM2, ATI RS485 + ATI SB600
- 4x DDR-2 800
- 1x PCI-E x16, 1x PCI-E x1, 2x PCI
- 10/100 Ethernet
- 4x SATA-II, 1x UDMA
- 10x USB
The Socket939 RD580 motherboard is called the
RD480-A939. It allows to run Crossfire in x16/x16 which gives an added performance boost for cards which do not use an interlink like the X1300 and X1600.
- AMD Socket 939, ATI XPress3200 + ATI SB450
- 4x DDR-400
- 2x PCI-E x16, 2x PCI-E x1, 2x PCI
- Gigabit Ethernet
- 4x SATA, 2x UDMA
- 8x USB
If you need integrated VGA, ECS has a solution for you. The
C51G-M940 uses an NVIDIA 6100 which is integrated into the chipset.
- AMD Socket AM2, NVIDIA GeForce 6100, nForce 410
- 2x DDR2-800
- 1x PCI-E x16, 1x PCI-E x1, 2x PCI
- 10/100 Ethernet
- 4x SATA-II, 2x UDMA
- 8x USB
Also on display was a pretty complete lineup of NVIDIA video cards. Hot were of course the new 7600, 7900GT and 7900GTX models.
The
H70 is made by ECS but will probably be sold by Intel as complete solution which features a mobile Pentium M with a 7" 800x480 LCD screen. Obviously the whole unit is powered by an Intel chipset which is very close to the Centrino Laptop technology. As harddrive an 1.8" 60GB is used. Of course included are wireless connectivity via 802.11b/g and Bluetooth. While the included 1.3 megapixel camera might not be something for highest-quality shots it's still comparable to a good cellphone camera.
