Introduction

I would like thank Centon for providing the review sample.

Centon may be a fairly unknown manufacturer of flash memory devices, but they offer a good range of different products geared toward both Apple and PC systems. Today we have the pleasure of reviewing their USB 3.0 flash drive by the name of Rush.

Features
  • Higher transfer rates
  • Backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices and computers Full-duplex data transfers
  • Lag-free transfer experience
  • Low power consumption
  • LED indicator to show link status
  • Cap less sliding design
  • Small form factor
  • Plug and Play

Packaging & Contents

The Rush ships in a plastic package, which has been soldered shut. You better have some scissors at your disposal to gain access to the contents. You can clearly see the Rush drive from all major sides along with the Aluminum clip. It also mentions read and write speeds of up to 60 MB/s, which are mentioned in big lettering in this area. It will be interesting to see if the Rush flash drive can attain these numbers.

As mentioned before, you will also receive a little Aluminum clip with the drive, so that you may easily attach it to a key chain, backpack or jeans for example. Even though this part is not a big deal, it is nice to see the inclusion of something like that.
