Introduction

Clar1tyOne Logo

Clar1tyOne is a brand new Canadian company that are producing their own in-ears and soon full-sized headphones as well. At the core of their product is a type of dynamic driver that is optimized in terms of EMF. According to Clar1tyOne this focus means that the earphones perform better in square wave tests which correlates to how fast transients the driver can produce. Besides the slightly different dynamic driver the earphones look quite stylish and feature an on-cable remote with microphone which enables you to take calls on the go.

Specifications

  • Sensitivity (1kHz):110dB SPL/mW
  • Frequency Range:15 Hz – 20 kHz
  • Jack Plug:3.5 mm stereo gold plated
  • Cable Length:48 in/1.12 m tangle free
  • Transducer:7.5mm neodymium magnet
  • Impedance (1kHz): 8 ohm
The claim on Clar1tyOne Audio's site of 8 ohm being cool is just plain marketing fluff. The sensitivity at 1 kHz is the only thing that will tell you the total efficiency of the earphones. At 110 dB SPL/mW the EB110s are very efficient, but many in-ear designs around today achieve a similar or higher sensitivity.
