Club 3D CSP-X1000CB 1000 W Review

A Look Inside »

Packaging

Club 3D's CSP-X1000CB comes in a relatively big packaging. The outside cover has a nice black-blue color gradient and in the front there is a fan shot of the PSU along with the Club 3D logo in big white fonts. The bottom right corner has ATI Crossfire, NVIDIA SLI, 80Plus Bronze and 1000 W(!) badges. On the back we find information about cables/connectors, features and power specifications of the PSU.

Once we removed the cover we met the (black) box that contains the PSU. Its construction is sturdy enough to protect the PSU until it reaches to the buyers' hands.

Contents

Inside the box, the PSU is further protected by a cloth bag. The bundle includes a bag to store the unused modular cables, a set of thumbscrews, a quick installation guide, a user's guide and three velcro cable ties,

Exterior

The PSU features a black matte finish and a fancy blue fan. In each of the two sides we find an exhaust grill. From the outside CSP-X1000CB looks well constructed, but what matters the most is what is hiding under the casing, right?
