CM Storm managed to produce a pretty well-performing gaming keyboard with the XTi version of their Quick Fire design. The multi-color system is interesting, but many of its competitors provide you with full RGB-coverage for their systems, and it is odd that CM Storm has not followed suit, especially considering the XTi's price tag of $135.

Having a driverless keyboard is both a pro and a con. A full driver suite would make it a bit quicker to setup initially, but that is a minor issue. Generally, the XTi works well on its own, and once you get the hang of programming it, it is pretty easy to create macros and setup its lighting system in a way you would like.

For its price, the keyboard just lacks a little finesse to truly stand out. In terms of switch mechanisms, you get a choice between Blues, Browns, and Reds, which is a bit odd as Black is omitted, but Blacks are fortunately available with other CM Storm keyboards.
