Assembly

Before we start assembly the parts, let us take a look at the connectors supplied by Cooler Master in the HAF 932. All of them are of the standard variety. The company has chosen to use color coded connectors for the Audio, which should make it easier to grab the right one during installation.

Installing the mainboard is done with the spacer and screw method. This is the same system as on most other cases out there. Needless to say, there is plenty of space in the chassis, as there is some room above and below the mainboard. The locking mechanism of the case does work well, but large cards may be beyond the grip of the plastic system. So if you do plan to take the HAF 932 to a LAN party for example that may mean that you have to use traditional screws instead.

To install optical drives, you need to remove the front covers. Doing so is refreshingly easy. Simply push the clip on the side and pull the cover out. This means that you won't have to pull off the entire front cover to install the external devices. Installing these consists of sliding them in and pushing the lock button on the side. Doing so, holds the drive in place nicely, but not perfectly as it still has a bit of play. I would suggest using the supplied screw to further secure it, in case you want to move the PC around.

Installing the hard drive is also very simple. The plastic trays can be bent apart and snap back into place, holding the drive perfectly. The next step consists of sliding the tray back into place and locking the door - done. No screws required.

Installing the PSU on the other hand, does require a screw driver, as it is held in place with normal screws.

After installing everything, you can see, that there is still plenty of space left and - even though I have not spent a lot of time on cable management - there are plenty of options to route, secure and bundle cables within the HAF 932.
