Even though very compact, the Cooltek W2 can hold a fully sized ATX board and large components. The exterior of the chassis is made of aluminum, while the interior frame is out of steel.

The front of the W2 is completely solid, featuring two bends to give it a more menacing, but still clean look. You may pull the front cover off with a firm tug, which will reveal both 140 mm cooling units a dustfilter protects. Turn the chassis around and you will see the two compartments, as the PSU bay is to the left of the expansion slots.

The PSU bay in the bottom only comes with a set of mounting holes since you have to place the unit with its fan facing toward the side. Next to it are the eight motherboard expansion slots, each protected by individual, silver covers. The top half houses the rear 5.25" drive bay and a third 140 mm fan. The latter pushes hot air out the back of the chassis.

We received the W2 variant with a rather large side window, so you can definitely show all those envious onlookers the hardware that counts. The other side panel is completely solid; that is, except for the PSU's air vent. Cooltek has also placed the power and reset buttons and the USB 3.0 and audio ports on this panel.

Tipping the chassis over reveals a large air vent in the floor of the chassis, for the main compartment. It it protected by a basic dust filter, so you won't have to worry about dirt entering through this opening.
