Introduction
I would like to thank
Corsair for supplying the Carbide 500R review sample.
Corsair is a well known entity in the memory market and has expanded their portfolio to other products in recent years. Power supplies, SSDs and cooling products along with cases are now part of their line-up. We have taken a look at the very successful Corsair Obsidian 800D and 650D in the past and also the Graphite 600T. We took a look at their first chassis for less than 100 USD, the Carbide 400R not too long ago, Corsair is also offering a more capable version - the 500R aimed to deliver even more cooling performance for a few bucks more.
The Carbide 500R is available in black or white/black. We received the latter for review.
