The Corsair Hydro Series H105 is without a doubt an amazing AIO liquid cooler. It offers extreme cooling performance that outdoes the H110 and every air cooler I have tested to date. The H105 delivers exceptional performance at even lower fan speeds by beating every cooler I have tested with the fan set to 50%. Add to that the perfect memory and socket clearance which allows users to install any memory or expansion card they can think of and you have a winner. Overall build quality is still solid as well, which is nice to see, although it should be since Corsair is including a five-year-long warranty with the H105. Let us not forget the pump's swappable accent rings that add a splash of color, which makes the H105 fit in with most major color themes. Oh, did I mention the Corsair logo that lights up in a bright white color? It definitely creates a source of nice contrast, which makes the pump stand out while your system is up and running. Granted, you will need a case that offers a window to appreciate it.

The H105's downsides are rather minor. Its high price tag of $119.99 places it firmly in enthusiast territory, which is fine considering the performance it delivers. However, its price does put it fairly close to the expandable Cooler Master Glacer 240L. The fans are also extremely loud at full speed as they hit 54 decibels—users will want to keep the fans at or below 50% in order to keep noise levels under control. Finally and in what I can only consider to be an oversight, Corsair offers colored rings for the pump but omits to treat the fans to some as well, which is a real shame and a missed opportunity.

The only other thought that springs to mind is that Corsair should include SP120 fans that utilize colored rings to really bring the cooler around full circle aesthetically. The Hydro Series H105 is such an exceptional product in terms of performance. Sure, it gets loud if you let it, but also dominates the competition with its fans only set to 50%, so I can't really cite noise as a reason not to get this CPU cooler.

The Corsair Hydro Series H105 definitely manages to impress in terms of performance, style, and quality. The end user only has to keep the fans under 1600 RPM for class-leading performance and acceptable noise output.
