Packaging and Accessories
CORSAIR continues its love of yellow and black product boxes, although for some sad reason the yellow is back front and center here with black relegated to the sides. On the front is the company logo and product name in addition to a render of the block lit up so you know what to expect. The GPU compatibility is also listed at the bottom as is the iCUE Link feature we will talk more about later. Another render is on the back with marketing features in multiple languages and a list of contents is seen on the side.
Open the outer box from either side to pull out a two piece plastic clamshell that houses the various items inside. We get an iCUE Link cable with a right-angled connector on one end and a straight connector on the other. Underneath is a warranty guide—the quick start guide is
only available online now—with the block placed inside the plastic clamshell for added protection along with the installation hardware that includes a set of screws and washers. No thermal pads or thermal paste to be seen here but, if the CORSAIR Hydro XG7 block is anything to go by, they are likely pre-installed on the block already.
