Introduction

Corsair's newest right-handed ergonomic gaming mouse, the Nightsword RGB, is huge, and I mean this in a number of different ways. It's a right-handed ergonomic product, and if you take a look at its specifications, you can already see it's a big one. But it also has a number of other flagship-like things going on, like the pretty sophisticated weight-tuning. The Nightsword features Corsair's exclusive PixArt PMW3391 top optical sensor that proved worthy numerous times before. It has 10 fully programmable buttons with Omron D2FC-F-K main switches that are rated for 50 million clicks. Just like many other Corsair devices, RGB lighting is a big selling point on the Nightsword, which has four lighting zones that can be customized via the iCUE software. It's on the more expensive side of gaming mice, but the specifications seemingly justify the $79.99 price tag.

Like all new Corsair mice, the Nightsword RGB also arrives in a black and yellow box that features the usual render pictures, technical specifications, and a good amount of marketing text. It doesn't feature a window, but is a rather thick and heavy package for a mouse. Its contents are the Nightsword RGB, three instruction booklets, and a case that contains the weight plates. There are no replacement mouse feet in the box, which is a letdown at nearly $80.
