Packaging
CORSAIR ships the Obsidian 500D in a brown cardboard box that lies flat, which is unlike most other mid-tower packages. You will find various images of the case on the four sides, and there are two carrying holes for easier transportation.
The chassis is held in place by cardboard re-enforced foam spacers, while a black cloth bag protects the enclosure from fingerprints and scratches.
Contents
You will receive a sorted set of screws, some zip ties, and a few CORSAIR-branded Velcro strips. It looks like the case ships with only eight SSD mounting screws even though you can mount up to five such devices within the chassis.
