Shape

Though not immediately obvious at first glance, the shape of the Scimitar Elite Wireless has received some minor changes compared to the Scimitar RGB Elite. The scroll wheel is no longer hanging in the air and instead embedded into the mouse body now. In addition, the protrusion on the left side at the front has been slimmed down, and the small thumb rest on the left side is gone entirely. Other than that, the typical right-handed ergonomic silhouette is retained, including the textured ring finger or pinky rest on the right side, the raised left side, centered hump that slopes down more steeply towards the rear, and notably high profile. Relative to its length, the width of the Scimitar Elite Wireless is above average, though the horizontally movable side panel can provide some adjustability in this regard. In comparison to the Scimitar RGB Elite, another thing of note on the Scimitar Elite Wireless is the different sensor position. On the latter, the sensor sits quite a bit lower (i.e., closer to the rear), reducing the wrist arc length accordingly.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Scimitar Elite Wireless is generally suited for palm and claw grip. It is a medium-sized and relatively short yet wide mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, which makes it suitable for most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Scimitar Elite Wireless quite comfortable in claw grip.

Dimensions

This table includes the dimensions of the Scimitar Elite Wireless and several other right-handed ergonomic mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and main buttons. Measurements with two decimals have been taken with a caliper, while those with one decimal have been taken with a ruler.
