The design of the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL is simple, in the best way. The build quality is excellent, and the finish is clean and highly resistant to fingerprints. For RGB LEDs, the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL has great coverage, excellent diffusion, and almost endless customization with the brand's own iCUE software. The Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL also has great stock lighting effects for those who eschew extra software, and this kit is compatible with the lighting software from all four major motherboard vendors.

Still, great looks must be second to performance. The Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL performed well at stock XMP settings; the 3600 MHz specification suits AMD's Ryzen platform well. For overclocking, I was only able to achieve 3900 MHz on my MSI MEG Z490 GODLIKE and Intel 10900K combo. For AMD overclocking, the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL achieved 3866 MHz with the stock XMP timings on my MSI MEG X570 ACE paired with a Ryzen 5 3600X. Manually tuning the timings at 3600 MHz, I was not able to achieve significantly tighter timings.

Finally, we come to the price. The tested specification of the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL comes in at a reasonable US$114.99. While this is not the cheapest kit with this specification, the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL strikes an excellent balance between price, performance, build quality, and aesthetics. While I would have liked to see better overclocking, for the many users looking for an attractive and performant "set and forget" memory kit, the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL is a great option.
