The black and white theme adds some nice contrast, and such neutral colors should have this cooler go with most system themes. As can be seen here, a dual-fan option is possible, but will likely sit on top of the motherboard's VRM heatsink. This is due in part to the cooler's short stature of just 145 mm; offering maximum case and memory compatibility can be very restricting.
In its default configuration, clearance around the motherboard's heatsinks is good, and there are no issues to report on in that regard. There is also plenty of clearance near the 8-pin EPS connector. As such, users with smaller, more cramped cases should still have plenty of room to work with around the H7 Universal.
The white fan has a black frame and the aluminum fins, nickle-plated copper heatpipes, and black top plate make for a simple but clean appearance—no LEDs and no bling, just a nice, clean, and simple tower cooler.
As you might have guessed, memory clearance is pure gold as the H7 Universal offers plenty of space for even the tallest of memory kits. Unlike its larger sibling, the H5, the H7 Universal does not block the motherboard's first expansion slot, which makes it a good fit for mini-ITX boards due to clearance, or for smaller cases where height plays a role.
