Initial Setup

Dangbei is clearly focused on providing the user with the expected Google TV setup experience. You do get their logo when booting up the projector, which is then quickly replaced by the Google TV animation we are used to seeing. Initially, you also have to pair the Bluetooth remote with the usual two-button press after which you are led through the vanilla Google TV onboarding which also allows you to use your phone and Google Home app to easily integrate the Atom into your wireless network for example.


Once that is completed, you are reminded of the special button on the side, which goes through the manual and autofocus feature before wrapping things up with the fairly recently introduced panel to highlight recently added new features to the environment.
