Installation

Installing the cooler is very straightforward. Press the backplate screws into the backplate area corresponding with your socket. Then, position the backplate on the motherboard and secure it in place with the included spacers.


Next, secure the mounting arms to the spacers with the included nuts, which is followed by applying some thermal paste. At this point, you can secure the heatsink to the mount.


Finally, install the fans and plug them in. Make note that if you want a quieter cooler, Deepcool does include low noise adapters as well, which will add a bit of extra cabling to manage. With that done, just use the included Y-cable and plug everything in.

Overall, the installation was effortless, and I would rate it a 9 on a scale of 1 (hardest) to 10 (easiest). The mounting hardware is incredibly simple and easy to work with, which is never a bad thing.
