I had a good time playing with this kit. I didn't expect the XMP profile to work on our X79 Express test platform, so having to tweak the secondary timings is no big deal to me, but it may be an issue for some users. There has been some discussion in the forums about re-using older kits on LGA 2011, and our testing has shown that this is quite feasible, if you are willing to take the time to set things up yourself, and in the end, could save some money on that new system purchase, too.
Exceleram doesn't have a large presence in the North American market, but I have seen their products for sale from time to time locally. The presentation and capability offered really makes me wish we'd see more from Exceleram in North America, and Exceleram is continually releasing newer products, although they are primarily focused on releases in the EU market. Hopefully that will change in the near future. Don't forget to find us in the forums to help you get the most out of yours, if you can find them!
