Assembly

Installing a motherboard is pretty straightforward as classic screws and spacers are employed. As you can see, the graphics card leaves plenty of room for potent custom liquid-cooling setups.

Adding an AIO in the ceiling is straightforward as well, as you simply screw it down with lots of space above the board. But due to the 140 mm fan, you can't push it all the way back towards the rear of the chassis.

Adding 2.5" drives may be done by either screwing them down to the 3.5" trays or utilizing the 2.5" plates in the same fashion. Once in place, simply put them back in place or screw them down on the shroud to show them off to curious onlookers.

3.5" drives require you to use the separately included rubber rings—screw the drive into these as an anti-vibration measure. Once filled, slide them back into the cage underneath the shroud, or hook them into the storage plate when utilizing the storage layout.

For the PSU, attach the plate to it and slide it into the Meshify 2 Lite through the rear, which is straightforward. Due to the width of the chassis, it is nicely tugged away with plenty of space for cable routing.

Once everything is installed, the interior of the Fractal Meshify 2 Lite is extremely clean because of the well-placed openings with rubber grommets and extremely well-thought-out motherboard tray backside. The plastic cable channels would make things just a tad straighter and cleaner.

Finished Looks

Once everything is assembled, the Meshify 2 Lite makes a great impression with the clear window. While there is no embedded dust filter in the front, the fine metal mesh should keep out the bulk of grime with the upside of clearly seeing the lighting elements of the fans in action.

The hub-mounted lighting of the fans provides a gentle glow that is not overpowering. Looking into the case through the glass side panel, you can clearly see all the hardware components as well. In the rear, everything is exactly where you would expect it. Lastly, thanks to the built-in ARGB controller, you may cycle through a variety of animations or select from the solid color choices shown below.
