Shape

Due to being conceived exclusively for fingertip grip, the geometric outline of the HSK Pro essentially is irrelevant. The shell merely provides contact points for one's fingers, and as such does not need to follow any ergonomic principles. Hence, the steep hump towards the back has no functional purpose outside of allowing the side buttons to sit further up, and only matters in that it slopes down gradually towards the front, where the fingers are placed at the lowest point. Otherwise, the shape resembles a simple box with mostly straight (slightly concave) sides. Hence, one could say that the HSK Pro 4K resembles the Zaunkoenig M2K in its design, though the latter is a bit larger and most importantly wider overall, and widens further towards the front. Whereas all of the contact points for one's fingers are solid, non-contact points (rear part of the top) have hexagonal holes for maximum weight reduction. The main buttons feature very subtle comfort grooves.

As for grip styles, the HSK Pro 4K is exclusively suited for fingertip grip. It is a small mouse with a fairly pronounced hump, but given that only one's fingers are used to grip it, virtually any hand size could work in theory, though in practice, those with larger hands may find it too narrow. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the HSK Pro 4K quite comfortable in fingertip grip.

This table includes the dimensions of the G-Wolves HSK Pro 4K and several other ambidextrous mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and main buttons. Measurements with two decimals have been taken with a caliper, while those with one decimal have been taken with a ruler.
