Shape

The HTX 4K can be described as lower-profile Hati-S Plus. The HTX 4K is flatter across the board, including button height at the front, the hump in the middle, and bulk at the rear. The rear flares out slightly more on the HTX 4K, and the front is marginally slimmer, but the general size and curvature are very similar. As a result of the lower profile, the side buttons sit a decent bit lower on the HTX 4K while retaining the same size and shape, which, coming from the Hati-S Plus, may require one to adjust one's grip to avoid hitting the side buttons inadvertently. The subtle comfort grooves in the main buttons have been retained. In short, for those who enjoyed the Hati-S Plus shape, but wished for something less bulky, the HTX 4K delivers exactly that.

The HTX 4K is available either without or with holes on the rear portion of the main buttons and the back portion of the top shell. However, either due to the manufacturing process or the plastic of the top shell being too thin, the hexagonal structure present on the inside of the back portion of the top shell is visible on the solid-shell variant, which isn't particularly sightly.


As for grip styles, I'd say the HTX 4K mostly suits claw and palm grip. It is a small to medium-sized mouse with a barely pronounced hump, which should make it generally suit medium to small hands. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the HTX 4K comfortable in claw grip.

Dimensions

This table includes the dimensions of the G-Wolves HTX 4K and several other ambidextrous mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and main buttons. Measurements with two decimals have been taken with a caliper, while those with one decimal have been taken with a ruler.
