A Closer Look

The radiator the quintessential AIO example, in that it sticks with a tried and true aluminium core with a fins-per-inch (FPI) count of 20. The tubing is Teflon, with a white braided sleeving. In theory, this should match well with the white radiator and pump; however, due to various materials, the white finishes do not match on this particular model. The white heat-shrink on the tubing is off white/cream colored, with the braided sleeves being bright white. Meanwhile, the radiator falls somewhere inbetween the two. Inside a chassis, the differences will be much harder to notice, especially through a tinted side panel, but out in the open on a white background, the various shades become very noticeable. As for the tubing, it is very stiff and has a rough length of 350 mm.

The pump block is round, with an infinity mirror design illuminating the Gamdias logo. Here, the upper and lower plastic housings are slightly different shades of white as well. However, this example is far less noticeable, until you look at the swivel fittings, where the heat-shrink stands outs as being an entirely different color compared to everything else. I am happy to see that the wiring exits the pump block facing upwards, towards where the top of your case is located, making for neat and clean cable runs. On top of that, the wiring being a good distance from the tubing means it won't interfere with the range of the swivel fittings. The max range is already limited, due to the close proximity of the two fittings. Adding wiring to the mix would make it worse, so I am glad to see Gamdias pay attention to this detail on the Chione M3 240W. As for the copper cold plate, it is smooth to the touch, with machining marks being only slightly visible. Meanwhile, the actual surface is slightly convex. In the image going from left to right, the base was flat, but from top to bottom, the center was slightly higher than the outer edge.

The PWM ARGB fans have an RPM range of 800 to 2000 with a CFM rating of 70.2. The frames are pure white, but the rubber vibration dampeners and wiring are slightly off-white.
