Assembly
Installing the motherboard and GPU is done by traditional means. As you can see, the opening for the PCIe power cables line up pretty nicely with the plugs on the graphics card, and there is plenty of space for a thin radiator in the front without creating any interference.
To mount an SSD, attach four rubber-ring-equipped screws to your drive. You may then place it on the motherboard tray towards the front, which is a good place to show it off to those looking through the glass side panel.
Adding a 3.5" drive is a bit more complicated than it could be since you have to remove the cage before using screws to secure the drive. A tray system would have been nice, especially as many other brands in this price segment offer such an assembly method. Once the cage is filled, screw it back onto the floor of the Irid 503 ARGB.
Installing the PSU is straightforward as well—simply slide it underneath the metal shroud and use four screws to pin it in place. There is plenty of room for it, so even a slightly longer PSU should fit well.
With everything in place, the interior looks sufficiently clean because of the rubber grommets, and not using the opening in the shroud for the PCIe power cable is also easily possible. The rear has plenty of hooks to attach zip ties, so with a bit of creativity and patience, that initial cable mess can be tackled successfully as well.
Finished Looks
Once turned on, the four pre-installed fans light up at the center and an LED ring situated around the frame interior. A blue power LED on top also let's you know that your system is up and running.
Looking at the front, you can see the three 120 mm fans quite nicely because of the metal mesh. Looking through the glass side panel, things are much clearer, including the ARGB elements of the rear fan and those of the hardware components. In the rear, everything is where you would expect.
As there is an LED toggle button on top of the chassis, you may toggle through the usual set of solid colors along with plenty of animations and multi-color configurations to suit your mood or general setup. You may feast your eyes on the solid color choices below.
