I spent a week with the Gigabyte F2A85X-UP4 before beginning our performance testing by running various configurations and CPUs and checking hardware compatibility. We verified our power consumption numbers using various different power supplies and played a few hours of games with some members of the TPU community to get an overall feel for the board and to verify stability. Once completed, we tore down the system, mounted our Corsair cooler, and put the board through the paces. I will, as with other recent reviews of mine, let the numbers do the talking.

WinRAR and wPrime
AIDA64
CineBench and HandBrake Encoding
Performance is, obviously, quite different between platforms. There's not much I can say about individual board performance yet, but I will definitely be able to say which board is doing better where within a couple weeks since I am already in the process of testing two more boards. I also hope for a couple more to arrive soon. Besides, this is supposed to be a motherboard review and not a platform comparison.
