The Gigabyte W480 Vision D features a 13-phase VRM configuration (not including VCCSA phases); twelve phases are for the Vcore and one phase for the SOC.


Gigabyte is using an Intersil ISL69269 PWM controller to drive the 12 Vcore phases directly, with a Reneas RAA22901 to drive the single SOC phase.


The Gigabyte W480 Vision D uses Vishay SIC651 power stages for its 13 phases. These stages are rated for up to 50 A each.

The Gigabyte W480 Vision D has a maximum output of 650 A, with 600 A dedicated to Vcore.
