The HyperX Fury S Speed Edition mouse pads feature a micro-woven cloth surface and heavy rubber base material. They come in four different sizes, all with the same print pattern. All are also packaged rolled up inside a cardboard box that follows HyperX's current peripherals color scheme, with a small cutout where you can touch the surface material.

There is no mouse pad that is perfect for everyone. We have different preferences, which makes life a tad more difficult, but more colorful and fun as well. This pad is fast—not uncontrollably so, but it's definitely one of the fastest cloth pads I've tested so far. It takes almost no effort to move the mouse around, and the glide is extremely smooth. The actual surface is very densely woven and has a silky touch to it, making it quite similar to the Razer Goliathus Speed.

I didn't expect any anomalies in terms of tracking and wasn't disappointed. I tested four different mice, each with a different sensor, and all of them tracked flawlessly without any errors or anomalies. However, this mouse pads negative is that it looks like a hillside landscape after unboxing. I've seen some stubbornly wrinkled mouse pads in my life, but this one is particularly nasty at first, although still not as bad as the Cougar Speed 2, for example. Of course, this can be helped, but it takes time. If you urgently need a new pad, I would avoid this one. After a few days, it flattened out to where it was more than usable—after a few more days of heavy use, it was plain perfect.

Build quality of the Fury S Speed amazed me—it's exceptionally good. There's absolutely nothing I would be able to nitpick on, which is fantastic and rather unique. I hope to see more companies raise their quality control to HyperX's level. As far as durability goes, I'm pretty sure this pad would last long enough. It's thick and has stitched edges, so it's not prone to fraying.

At their current prices, the Fury S Speed Edition pads are highly competitive—they can even be considered relatively cheap. I would happily recommend them to anyone who finds them suitable for their needs. Just bear in mind that it might take a few days of flattening before you can comfortably use it.
