Alright, before you guys call foul and seek me out to scold me for the score, let me draw a comparison.
Imagine, for a second, that a normal car goes for 25.000 US dollars. Considering this case costs ten times as much as a normal chassis, the S-Frame is clearly for those wanting to spend 250.000 US dollars on a car. Such a customer base does not care if their car comes with a cup holder, is comfortable for cross country rides, or sports efficient fuel consumption. The customer who spends ten times as much on a chassis as us normal folk is in it for the same reason someone buys such a car: looks that are out of this world, unique, and fun in their own way.
That considered, the In Win S-Frame fits, and it fits so extremely well. There is simply no other chassis out there that offers this design, engineering, and crazy use of materials. Add the fact that you are essentially buying a collectable which very few people in this world will also own and one should understand the position the chassis aims to take and claim in such a crowded case market.
So, I will not dwell on its quality as the use of 4 mm thick aluminum throughout borders on a good sort of insanity; and hand-folding is just mind boggling in a day and age where robots and automated machines usually do everything. So if you like the chassis, have the cash to spare, and want to own that limited edition, highly unreasonable but sexy chassis, look no further – just grab the S-Frame before all 500 are gone.
