Connectivity

In terms of video inputs, the INNOCN 32M2V is equipped with a pair of 48 Gbps HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB-C port with DP Alt Mode and 90 W Power Delivery.

There are also two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A downstream ports and a single USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-B port for USB connectivity. Unfortunately, the USB Type-A and USB-C ports aren't tied together with a KVM switch that would automatically switch peripherals between two connected devices after selecting the appropriate video input. Instead, you have to do it manually, either by visiting the "Other Settings" menu within the OSD and then scrolling down to the "USB Switch" toggle, or by assigning the USB Switch function to a quick key (OSD Settings > Hotkey1Setting > USB Switch). The latter is of course much faster and more convenient, as then you only have to double-press the corresponding button in the bottom right corner of the panel. If you plan to share the same set of peripherals between devices connected to the USB-C and HDMI1/HDMI2/DisplayPort inputs, definitely assign the USB Switch feature to a hotkey. All that being said, a proper KVM switch that would make all that happen automatically would be a much better option – and nowadays, a mandatory one, considering the $800 price tag of the INNOCN 32M2V.

The monitor lso has a 3.5-millimeter audio output.

Power Consumption

The INNOCN 32M2V gets its power through a beefy external power adapter, rated at 240 W (24 V / 10 A). I've used the Meross MSS315 Matter Smart Wi-Fi Plug and the accompanying mobile app to determine the monitor's power consumption at various brightness levels, as well as in Power Saving mode, which it enters as soon as the PC goes to sleep. My power consumption measurements are summed up in the chart below. They were made after resetting the monitor to factory defaults.

Power consumption of the INNOCN 32M2V is fairly high, but not out of the ordinary when it comes to 32-inch 4K monitors equipped with Mini-LED backlight systems, capable of reaching static brightness of over 400 cd/m² in SDR mode.
