Overclocking
We set a fixed voltage of 1.3 V, which is a reasonable maximum for operating the i5-7640X around the clock, and checked on how far we could increase clock speeds.
Reaching 4.8 GHz was really easy, with 4.9 GHz becoming challenging and requiring a lot of voltage; that's why we picked 4.8 GHz as the comparison point for the "overclocked" data set. Unlike other LGA2066 chips, cooling was not a big issue due to the i5-7640X being quad-core only and without HyperThreading.
