Packaging

The package that the unit is contained in is basic and straightforward. The front and the back have identical images as do both sides. The glossy image on the front consists of iStarUSA's logo, the HDD rack, and its model designation. The sides are reminiscent of packaging for hard disks, quite appropriate.

As expected inside the box is the HDD rack itself, wrapped in bubble-wrap. After that all that's left in the box is an instruction manual, and a small bag with four mounting screws for the 5 1/4" bay, and two keys. The instruction paper has minimal information with small black and white pictures. If you've mounted a CD/DVD drive into a 5 1/4" bay before, there is no difference with mounting the T-5 SS.
