Packaging

Aside from the mouse, one finds a braided charging cable (USB Type-A to Type-C), wireless dongle, wireless extender, quick start guide, set of grip tape, and set of replacement feet inside the box.

Weight

My scale shows around 47 g (+/- 1 g), which is slightly more than the weight cited by LAMZU. Accordingly, the Maya is slightly lighter than the smaller Atlantis Mini, and compares favorably to the likewise smaller G-Wolves Hati-S Plus ACE at 46 g. An excellent weight.

Cable

The Maya comes with a paracord-like, braided charging cable (USB Type-A to Type-C). The connector is angled upwards, which has been seen on Zowie and VAXEE mice before. In terms of flexibility, this one ranks a bit higher than the charging cable of the Atlantis 4K, to where playing while charging is possible without feeling overly restricted. The measured length of the cable is 1.80 m.

The charging cable also functions as an extension cable, if used in conjunction with the wireless extender. The wireless extender can be used to keep the distance between dongle and mouse as short as possible.

Feet

The feet on the Maya are non-dyed pure PTFE (Teflon) feet. They are of above average thickness and have slightly rounded edges. Glide is excellent. The ring around the sensor ensures CPI stays consistent upon applying vertical pressure. A set of replacement feet is included in the box.

8K Wireless Dongle

As a separate purchase, LAMZU offers the 8K Wireless Dongle, which as of this review is compatible with all LAMZU mice using a Nordic MCU. After pairing the 8K Wireless Dongle with the Maya, polling rates of 2000, 4000, and 8000 Hz will become available. Pairing is possible through the software by opening the settings dialog and selecting the pairing tool there, or by simply pressing space when opening the software. Though visually (color aside) very similar to the 4K dongle, the 8K dongle is in fact physically different, in that a Nordic nRF52820 MCU is used instead of a Nordic nRF52810. Please note that the final design of the 8K Wireless Dongle will differ, as the shell will be transparent.
