Shape and Dimensions

Shape

When compared with the Atlantis, the shape of the Maya has many similarities: Much like on the former, front and back flare out to a similar degree, and the side curvature is comparable. On the Maya, however, the hump is centered instead of positioned towards the rear, and the hump also ends up being more tapered, whereas the Atlantis has its hump extend across the top at its full width. In addition, the hump slopes down towards both ends differently, as on the Maya, the main buttons sit higher south of the scroll wheel. Also, while the front on the Atlantis has straight sides, the top end is wider on the Maya, and gets narrower towards the base. All these changes taken together alter how the Maya feels in hand quite a bit, though most people may actually find the Maya to be the more agreeable design.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Maya mostly suits claw and fingertip grip, with palm grip being possible at least. It is a medium-sized mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, which should make it generally suit most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Maya very comfortable in claw grip.

Dimensions

This table includes the dimensions of the LAMZU Maya and several other ambidextrous mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and main buttons. Measurements with two decimals have been taken with a caliper, while those with one decimal have been taken with a ruler.
