By and large, the shape of the Thorn most closely compares to the VAXEE Outset AX. Compared to the usual EC2 archetype, both are shorter, wider, and overall bulkier. However, the Thorn differs in that the left side isn't raised as much, which has the profile be lower as a whole, and it also is slightly longer, approaching the EC2 again. The curvature of the sides, hump curvature and location, and grip width are virtually a match, though. In addition, although neither the AX nor the Thorn have comfort grooves on the main buttons, they appear more convex on the former, whereas the Thorn has them appear flatter. In a sense, the Thorn could be described as a blend between the AX and EC2, without any major twists.
As for grip styles, I'd say the Thorn mostly suits palm and claw grip. It is a medium-sized mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, which should make it generally suit most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Thorn very comfortable in claw grip.
Dimensions
This table includes the dimensions of the LAMZU Thorn and several other right-handed ergonomic mice. "Front height" denotes the distance between the base and main buttons. Measurements with two decimals have been taken with a caliper, while those with one decimal have been taken with a ruler.
