Battery Life and Power Consumption

Battery life is really good, for a laptop that has both an integrated and a discrete GPU. The decent battery life is in part to the efficient Intel 12th Generation i7-12700H mobile CPU, with a relatively low 45 W power consumption, paired with the high capacity 80 Wh battery. Using the right power profile and disabling non-essentials such as keyboard LED in conjunction with lowering screen brightness, can extend battery life even further, helping to avoid the outstandingly fast 45 minute charge time from 5% to 100% I measured in testing. The 300 W PSU really pays off here, allowing the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro to charge very quickly.
