I will give Lian Li credit; their follow-up to the original Galahad series of liquid coolers can easily be considered a worthy successor. The Galahad II Trinity Performance 360 delivers a tremendous level of cooling performance that, depending on the situation, can be considered best in class. Setting the fans to 100%, they spool up to a maximum of 3000 RPM and an ear-splitting noise level of 63 dBA; however, while excessively loud, it also ties and or takes the top spot on both Intel and AMD test systems. Dialing things back and getting the noise down to a far more comfortable 45 dBA still has the Lian Li Galahad II Trinity Performance 360 delivering top-tier performance as it still typically sits in second or third place.

Suffice to say the performance on offer is astounding, yet the price tag of $169.99 makes this Galahad II unit far more reasonable than many of the other 360 mm offerings available. Furthermore, if you don't need extreme performance, you can always opt to flip from High to Low via the controller near the fans, which limits their max RPM to 2300. Considering how well the cooler did in our noise-normalized tests, I wouldn't bother with the 3000 RPM mode unless you are trying to eke out every shred of performance you can.

Thankfully Lian Li knows better than to release a one-trick pony in such a crowded field, as such, the unit also boasts numerous useful features. For instance, the 45° swivel fittings on the radiator help keep tubing runs a bit neater, and since they feature a full 360° rotation, they will be perfectly placed no matter how you install the cooler. While ARGB lighting may not be for everyone, the cooler does offer a fantastic level of customization for the pump, and if you want further ARGB lighting, kits are available for the fans to kick things up a notch. I also have to say the daisy-chained fans being preinstalled makes for a much quicker and easier installation, with far less wiring mess than I am used to.

In general, from a hardware and software perspective, everything is well-built and, at least in my usage, well-coded. I didn't notice any issues with fit or finish, and the software did exactly what it needed to and even featured motherboard sync options to help simplify things further, thus showing great attention to detail. The Galahad II Trinity Performance 360 is also very easy to install on both AMD and Intel platforms. However, I will admit that I am not a fan of using the plastic motherboard clips on AMD's AM4 and AM5 sockets. I myself would prefer a design that uses proper standoffs, but regardless the current implementation was very quick and easy to work with, and for 99% of users, that will be the best option.

Overall, the Lian Li Galahad II Trinity Performance 360 AIO is a top-tier liquid cooler that offers tremendous performance, useful features, a realistic price tag, and a solid warranty, making it truly easy for me to recommend.
