Installation

Installing the cooler is a breeze on AMD. I had to reattach the fans, but for everyone else, the fans come preinstalled and ready to go. All I had to do to prepare the pump for installation was to swap the Intel brackets for the AMD brackets.

Thanks to the swivel fittings on both ends, mounting the radiator first did not cause any issues with installing the pump block since there was no strain via the tubing to speak of. Therefore after mounting the radiator to the chassis, all I had to do was apply the thermal paste and then slip the metal clips of the plastic brackets on the motherboard and tighten them down, alternating every few turns to apply even pressure.

With the pump mounted, all that remains is to plug in the various wires and Lian Li's L-Connect 3 software.

Overall, the installation is pretty straightforward on AMD and Intel, with no major hurdles or headache-inducing design choices. Furthermore, the L-Connect 3 software isn't really required since the unit was still controllable via motherboard PWM software. In fact, the software itself can be set to sync with your motherboard, which is a nice plus. I also didn't notice any strange behavior or aggressive resource usage either.
