Packaging for the Mad Catz STRIKE 13 keyboard is about par for the course for gaming-branded keyboards. The cardboard box comes inside a plastic wrap and has a red and black banderole with the company logo and product name on front, along with a large illustration of the keyboard all lit up next to a "Chameleon RGB." On the back and sides are more features and specifications in multiple languages, paired with more images of the keyboard. Two seals on either side keep the contents inside in place during transit, removal of which reveals the use of a two-piece packaging with an inner box that slides out.
The inner box is completely red and has the same writing as on the outer sleeve. There is another seal, this time over a double flap in the middle on the side which opens up to reveal the keyboard inside a plastic wrap of its own. The keyboard is held in place between two pieces of thick foam, with cutouts to snugly fit it for further protection. The accessories are seen underneath, and all there is to see here is a plastic zip-lock bag that houses a product manual in multiple languages (soft copy available on the product page), a support and warranty information guide, and some Mad Catz stickers. The manual is handy for going through the pre-programmed functions and well worth spending the few minutes needed on to make the most of your first time with the keyboard. That's about it, nothing else included as far as accessories go, or is there? Let's find out on the next page.
