Montech has managed to carve itself out as an affordable alternative to many mainstream brands out there, usually pushing the price to performance envelope while presenting cases with trusted and true themes. Having reviewed the original Sky One with a sub-$100 price tag, it will be interesting to see how the even more affordable $70 Sky One Lite fares. On paper it seems to be a strong contender to set the stage of what a budget chassis can include with an interesting balance of features and functionality. On top of that, you may pick between the all black or all white variant. We received the black Montech Sky One Lite for review.

Montech ships the Sky One Lite chassis in a plain brown box with an image of the enclosure on front and a set of multi-lingual marketing bulletin points on the rear. You will find the chassis specifications and another image of the enclosure on the smaller sides.


Two compact foam spacers hold the case in place and protect it during shipping, while a plastic bag keeps away fingerprints and light scratches.
