Montech Titan Gold 1000 W Review

The Power Supply

Measuring in at 150 x 160 x 86 mm the Titan Gold 1000 W is 2 cm deeper than your regular ATX PSU - nothing significant and quite common for PSUs of 1000 W and above. The casing of the PSU feels sturdy and at 1.85 kg the unit also has quite a bit of weight to it.

Visually the Titan Gold is quite ordinary with no bling or LEDs, with just the MONTECH logo catching some attention in the front. The back includes the power distribution sticker. The sides also have the MONTECH logo inconspicuously embossed.

The back of the PSU has the standard C13 socket for the AC cord, the on/off switch and the hybrid fan mode switch (during testing, the hybrid mode was turned on). At the front we find all the sockets for the modular DC cables, neatly marked down. The fan grill is shaped after the triangular MONTECH logo and provides plenty of uninterrupted airflow.
