Introduction
Established in 1986, MSI is a computer hardware company based in Taiwan. With the Clutch GM51 Lightweight, MSI enters the 8000 Hz polling rate market. Being a USB high-speed device, the GM51 is natively capable of polling rates above 1000 Hz, allowing for accordingly lower sensor and click latency compared to regular 1000 Hz mice. The right-handed ergonomic GM51 is equipped with PixArt's latest PAW3395 sensor capable of 26,000 CPI, along with Omron switches rated for 60 million clicks for the main buttons. Furthermore, the GM51 has a particularly flexible cable, pure PTFE feet, and weighs no more than 74 g. Rich RGB lighting is present as well, which can be fully configured within MSI Center, among other things. Lastly, the GM51 is compatible with NVIDIA Reflex, allowing one to display click latency in real-time on supported monitors.
