Packaging

The MSI MEG Prospect 700R ships in a massive, full color package with golden accents and several shots of the chassis itself on the bigger panels. Both sides feature a few additional details as well as carrying holes for easier transportation.

MSI certainly goes the extra mile to protect the case by utilizing reinforced foam spacers as well as a branded cloth bag. One of the two content boxes is sandwiched on the side with two additional foam elements.

MSI ships the chassis with a few accessories and as such you will find two brown boxes inside the package. One, as mentioned, on the exterior and the other packed inside the enclosure itself.

The cube sized box contains all the screws, zip ties, a tool and a PWM splitter cable alongside a bracket to allow for vertical GPU mounting inside the case. One could argue that MSI could have gone a bit further and included a PCIe ribbon cable, but the fact that you get a mounting element which has full triple-slot support means that you have the flexibility of buying exactly the cable you want instead of essentially paying for one as part of the package. In the long, flat cardboard box, you will find two plates to utilize inside the chassis as we will see in a little bit. One is meant to allow you to close off the side intake area while the other is used for E-ATX motherboards.

Lastly, a simple quick installation guide is also included within the package of the MEG Prospect 700R chassis.
