Board Software
The driver disc included with the MEG Z390 GODLIKE is nicely divided and quite concise. There is some included bloatware, so users should check the list before choosing the "install all" option. Including third party software is a common practice, and the implementation here is much less intrusive than on some. While I don't necessarily like it, I prefer it over increased board prices.
For utilities, MSI has kept it simple. Four are installed from the disk; Dragon Center, MSI App Player, Mystic Light, and a MSI reskin of CPU-Z. Dragon Center contains all of the in-OS fan control and overclocking as well as a very thorough hardware monitor and color-adjustment tool designed to reduce eye strain.
MSI App player is just an app manager that connects to the Google Play store and can manage apps between devices. Mystic Light controls the abundant RGB LEDs for the MEG Z390 GODLIKE, as well as the OLED screen located beside the postcode display.
