The BIOS on the MSI MPG Z490 Carbon EK X is excellent, attractive, and well optimized. MSI has done a good job of organizing and prioritizing their menu configuration. This is the same general BIOS MSI has been using for a while, and it has all the essentials: a good overclocking section, good fan control, and basic lighting control. MSI also has some interesting extras, like Board Explorer, which can help familiarize new users with the different features of the board in a very visual and engaging way.
