The Myvu Personal Media Viewer is a unique device that allows viewing videos on a video iPod. The unit is well-designed and comfortable, plus it has additional nose pieces and earbud pads to customize the viewer to the user. Battery life is similar to that of viewing videos on the iPod's native screen, and the in-line remote allows convenient adjustment of brightness, contrast and volume. For users that have prescription glasses there is an optional clip-on lens kit that can be purchased separately. This device would be perfect for the frequent lone traveler, especially with the noise-reducing earbuds.

There are just a couple drawbacks though. First and foremost is the price. At $199.95 USD, it is nearly the cost of the iPod itself. If that is not a stumbling block, the image is somewhat small, although it is slightly larger than viewing on the iPod's native display. Of course, the user needs to be responsible when wearing the Personal Media Viewer and limit its use to situations where the wearer will not be distracted.

Overall the Myvu Personal Media Viewer is a great accessory for the iPod video. It will certainly get looks from everyone around, and maybe even invoke a bit of jealousy.
