The Power Supply
There's an old saying that you can identify a quality power supply just by taking it into your hand and feeling its weight. While this is (or at least in recent years has become) a bit anecdotal, the 2.36 kg weight of the unit leaves a positive first impression. And so does the overall exterior and the monochromatic color scheme with a black and gray color scheme.
On the top we don't see much apart from the fan grille with plenty of airflow. There's not even an NZXT logo here. At the bottom - the usual sticker with the power specifications.
Both sides look identical, marked with the "NZXT C1500" logo.
At the back we see the hybrid fan operation switch, the on/off switch and a C20 inlet to match the supplied C19 AC power cable. C20 is often used on higher output power supplies as it allows handling higher currents.
At the front we have all the connectors for the modular cables. Besides the 18+10 connector for the 24 pin motherboard cable and the two connectors for the 12V-2x6 GPU power cables there are eight connectors for CPU or PCIe power cables and four connectors for the peripherals. The number of connectors precisely matches the number of cables included with the PSU.
