ITX builds have always been something many enthusiasts did not dare attempt due to the tight spaces of enclosure or the tricky limitations they provided. On top of that, thermals and noise are something that puts people off the form factor, but even if that is not an issue, the financial barrier of entry tends to be quite a bit higher if you look at other similarly compact options out there. The NZXT H1 tackles all of these concerns gracefully. Looking at the cost of $350, consider that around $120 go toward the PSU and another $100 are for the 140 mm AIO unit within, which leaves an absolutely reasonable $130 for the chassis itself. Thus, the H1 should actually be considered quite affordable as other options tend to clock in at $160 to well over $200 for the bare chassis.

Even though the NZXT H1 is so compact, it is delightfully easy to work with as you only need to touch a total of four screws besides those for mounting the liquid cooling setup. The pre-routed cables for power and I/O make all the difference for a convenience besting any experience out there, including those of big ATX enclosures. This translates in users being able to easily build their own ITX system and system integrators having a blast rolling full systems off their assembly lines. Lastly, tackling the performance element, the NZXT offers a perfect balance between cool and quiet, which is hard to achieve in this form factor. NZXT could even go as far as to offer the case with the PCIe ribbon cable for those wanting to go with air cooling and their own SFX PSU, but this is not officially planned.

All this makes the NZXT H1 one of the best mass market ITX cases out there and quite the no-brainer for anyone who wants to build a no-compromise ITX gaming build.
