Packaging
The outer packaging is fairly simple with the box being medium gray color with the Iota L36 being shown in full color alongside the Ocypus logo. Moving to the left end you get a good look at the built-in display showing CPU temperature with the ARGB accent lighting in full effect. As for the back of the box it lists the liquid cooler's specifications in detail, but there's lots of empty space as well.
The other panels are very simple, just showing the product name and Ocypus logo. It would've been nice to have the warranty length printed somewhere for convenience, but I get why it might be left off, considering different regional rules. That said, the empty space in various areas could have been used to better show off the product, detail features, mechanical drawings of the dimensions, etc.
Contents
Inside the box, I am happy to see plenty of foam surrounding the cooler keeping it safe during transit. Everything is well positioned and protected. While the more typical cardboard tray is usually adequate, the use of foam does lead to a more premium feel during the unboxing. Something I myself appreciate on top of the extra protection it affords.
Intel and AMD socket support is good with all the mainstream sockets supported. AMD and Intel HEDT platforms have been left out, but considering the age of those platforms I do not consider that an issue. Beyond that, everything you need is included and the fans come pre-installed for you, a nice touch. Ocypus also includes a couple Velcro ties which is a nice bonus.
