Internal Drive Performance

For the internal OS drive included with the laptop, we have a 512 GB Corsair Force MP600. The storage drive is a 1 TB Samsung 970 EVO PLUS. Both drives perform well.


Both drives are next to each other, with a third slot close by. A fourth slot is available, too, and the four slots combined support up to 8 TB of storage (4x 2 TB drives).

I'm happy with the drive choices here. You can stick with either brand for the drives if that's your liking or mix it up like I have here to get the best of both worlds. That's part of what makes Origin PC devices so nice; you have options when it comes to things like drives and memory rather than being confined to whatever device the OEM has decided to install. Not so here, you get your choice.
