Graphics Card Cooler Front
Graphics Card Cooler Back

Palit's cooler is about the most basic cooler you could imagine, a piece of metal with a fan strapped to it. There is no need for fancy heatpipes, copper baseplate or other things that increase cooling performance. The heat output of the GeForce GT 220 is so low that such features would just drive up price without any further improvement.

Graphics Card Power Plugs

Being a low-end power efficient design there is a no need for external power connectors on the GeForce GT 220.

Graphics Card Memory Chips

The GDDR3 memory chips are made by Qimonda and carry the model number HYB18H1G321AF-10. They are specified to run at 1000 MHz (2000 MHz GDDR3 effective). NVIDIA does not support GDDR5 memory configurations on the GeForce GT 220. Board partners may choose whether they want to ship their cards with 512 MB or 1 GB of video memory.

Graphics Chip GPU

This is NVIDIA's new GT 216 GPU, it comes with 486 million transistors and is produced on a 40 nm process at TSMC Taiwan.
